4 ~ Naked Apes versus The Crocodiles

Stories of our ancestors between 2½ and 1½ million years ago.

The fourth story in the River Apes series tells the tale of the greatest river ape ever to live - Veng. The story begins in Aquafaria - a region the size of England in Ethiopia, two and a half million years ago. We share the adventures and dangers of our ancestors living in the crocodile infested river Awash. Day after day apes face death in the jaws of the reptilian killing machines. Many thousands of generations of river apes had to swim like mad to escape the teeth of the crocs. Every day hundreds paid the ultimate price, but slowly the river apes started to change. Then, two million years ago, Veng was born.

He saw his mother, friends, father, partner and son all eaten by crocodiles right in front of him. He decided that enough was enough and declared a vicious, hateful war against them. The result of this struggle would liberate them from their oldest enemy and allow the river apes to continue their random journey, which just happened to be ever closer towards humanity.
